Imagine you and your whole family trying to survive on one plate of Foul. This was the reality of this family upon our teams visit to their house. They have no electricity and need $200 worth of medication a month for his ill, elderly mother, who also lives with them.
The father did not complain once about the one plate of food 7 of them have to share, he said usually there is nothing to eat, so one plate is at least a small blessing. When we asked what we could help them with, he refused to ask for anything, instead letting our team know, that whatever we could provide them with would be sufficient.
