Sa’d ibn Ubadah reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Yes.” I said, “Which charity is best?” The Prophet said, “A drink of water.” (Sunan al-Nasa’i)

Communities are suffering from waterborne diseases because they have no other choice than to drink contaminated, unsafe water. In many parts of the world, access to clean water is a luxury, and this is not normal. Together we can change this by building wells in the areas that need it most
